The Ultimate Travel Guide to the Balearic Islands

One thing’s for sure: anyone can have a brilliant time in the Balearics!

In Ibiza, party-goers, ravers, and fun-seeking weekenders mingle with a more mellow, serene, and boho-chic assembly of fashion influencers and families. Majorca holidays showcase Magaluf's vibrancy, yet it's a beguiling cosmopolitan island providing a diverse range of experiences. Menorca remains relaxed and genuine. Meanwhile, in tranquil Formentera, the smallest of the cluster, a simpler way of life prevails. Simply select an isle that matches your tempo - a promise of splendid times awaits.

Blessed with fantastic beaches, all major resorts throughout the Balearic Islands offer a wide variety of water sport activities, be it kayaking, surfing, diving, or snorkelling. You’ll be spoilt for choice with boat excursions too, some of which include visits to caves and secluded islands. Cycling has become hugely popular on all four islands, and often the best way to reach off-the-beaten-track places along the coast. Hiking is also a fine way to explore the region, with great coastal walks along the Barranc d’Algendar in Menorca, Santa Agnès in Ibiza and Cala Saona in Formentera.

Whichever island you decide on, our guide will give you everything you need to plan the perfect holiday in the Balearic Islands.
