Set in the picturesque Cornish village of Mitchell, The Plume of Feathers is a historic 16th Century dining pub with rooms. As well as a bar and restaurant, you will find a tranquil beer garden flanked with ever-green shrubs and plants. Guests can enjoy free parking, Wi-Fi, and use of the electric vehicle chargers.
Whether it is enjoying breakfast in the conservatory, lunch in the historic pub, or dinner beside the roaring log fire - guests are treated to menus filled with traditional pub classics with an imaginative twist - think ham an egg or lamb moussaka.
The Plume of Feathers offers elegant rooms set within separate, thoughtfully converted barns and stables. The spacious rooms feature ensuite bathrooms, flat-screen TVs, Nespresso machines, monsoon showers and Bramley organic toiletries. Most of them have emperor-sized beds, and some of them have sofas and desks.
Centrally located in the heart of Cornwall, Truro city centre is a 15 min drive, and the north and south coastlines are easily accessible. The nearest beaches, Crantock and Holywell, are just a 15 mins drive, and there are woodland walks nearby for you to enjoy.
If you are planning on bringing your dog along for a break too, we have a selection of dog-friendly rooms. An extra charge of £20 per dog per night will apply with an additional £10 for a second dog, per night. Your dog will have their very own doggy bed, blanket, bowl and dog welcome pack waiting for them on arrival.
