Hike the Yorkshire Moors and Coast

Play with the dogs at St Bees Beach in Cumbria

Long, sandy beaches and the gorgeous bluff make the St Bees beach area a delight for both kids and dogs. There are no dog restrictions on the beaches or shingle areas, but dogs should be leashed in the car park or grassed areas.

Check out the quaint red stone buildings in the town of Cumbria and swim during the summer months. Walk for kilometres and simply absorb the peaceful wide open space, take photos and listen to the kids laugh and play on the beach together on your holiday in Cumbria. A great weekend break for the kids!

Bond with the family at Lee Wick Farm near Essex

Definitely one of the most popular family weekend breaks, farm visits allow the kids to get close to nature and slows the pace of life. A favourite glamping spot with families, the farm is 90 minutes from London and definitely dog-friendly too.

Holidays at Hoo Farm are definitely kid-friendly. Aimed at the youngest members of the family, it's the perfect short getaway to help the whole family feel connected. You'll only have to rough it a little bit as the facilities are excellent, including cottages, lodges, restaurants and gardens.

There are plenty of group accommodation options too and Telford is close to Shropshire and several other kid-friendly activities that you can enjoy while you're there. There is something special on offer during each season.
