There are 72 casinos in Las Vegas, making them one of the biggest attractions. Every major hotel on the strip has a casino, and likely a shopping mall, attached to it. Try The Mirage Casino its lively Polynesian-inspired floor with a range of tables, games and slots, and a great atmosphere. Or try Circus Circus, a casino with the most incredible décor. Or head just off the strip to Westgate Las Vegas Casino – a lush casino with a busy floor, there's also a large sport betting area for the sports enthusiasts.

Las Vegas, conveniently, has a lot of places for you to spend your winnings. Fashion Show Mall is an all-round favourite amongst local and tourists as it accommodates most U.S. chains and brands in a cool air-conditioned building. Department stores such a Macy's, Nordstrom and Saks Fifth Avenue can be found here alongside American classics like Abercrombie and Fitch. If you truly win big head to Forum Shops, a massive high-end shopping area with luxury brands such as Dian Von Furstenberg, Gucci and Christian Louboutin.

Las Vegas possibly has the most vibrant nightlife in the world. The strip is practically overflowing with bars and nightclubs meaning there is something to suit everyone's tastes and budgets. Rub shoulders with celebrities at Tao or go to the famous Coyote Ugly for the authentic Las Vegas bar experience. For an all-out Vegas experience try an Ultra Pool, a club pool mix.
