More about easyJet
EasyJet is one of Europe's leading airlines. Easyjet is a British company that was founded in 1995, which has its headquarters located at London Luton Airport. Currently, this low cost airline operates over 800 routes spanning more than 30 countries. It has an impressive fleet of over 240 Airbus planes. In 2014, EasyJet announced a deal to purchase an ultra modern generation of A320 aircraft.
They are due to be implemented commencing in 2017. This airline has a strong presence at major airports in Europe, including Gatwick, Edinburgh, Nice, Paris, and Amsterdam, and every year more than 70 million passengers travel on easyJet flights. One of the major factors that have contributed towards easyJet's success is the philosophy of keeping it simple to make travel easy and affordable for everyone. Popular country destinations for cheap easyJet flights include France, Italy, UK, Spain and Portugal.
What is easyJet's baggage allowance?
In general, passengers travelling on easyJet flights have an allowance of three items of hold luggage each. One cabin bag with measurements of up to 56 x 45 x 25cm, including the handles and wheels, is also allowed. For easyJet Plus, FLEXI fare, Upfront and Extra Legroom passengers, there is an additional bag allowance of up to 45 x 36 x 20cm.
This additional bag is stored under the seat in front. There is no cabin bag weight restriction on cheap easyJet flights - the only requirement is that you can place it in the overhead locker without assistance. Boarding priority is given to EasyJet Plus customers first, next is those that need assistance, then families with young children, and then the remaining passengers.
There are three types of seats available on easyJet flights, including Extra Legroom, Upfront, and Standard. Passengers are allocated seating by easyJet unless the seat preference option (for an extra fee) is selected at check-in.
Why fly with easyJet?

The easyJet Plus program is ideal for frequent flyers.
Members are entitled to select a seat, pass through Fast Track Security at certain airports, enjoy speedy boarding, and take an extra bag on board the plane. It's fast and easy to check in with easyJet. You have the option to do so online, which is available from up to 30 days prior to the scheduled flight departure.
This gives you plenty of time in which to print out boarding passes. Mobile check-in is also possible. For this, simply check-in via the easyJet phone app, and download your boarding pass to your device. This doesn't need to be printed out, but is shown at the security checkpoints and when boarding the plane. Special deals for cheap easyJet flights may be sourced through lastminute.com.
