The Minus5° Ice Bar at Mandalay Place offers a cooling break from the desert heat with its constant temperature of 23 degrees Fahrenheit. You’ll be given warm jackets, boots, and gloves upon entry, after which you can try chilled cocktails in glasses made of ice, surrounded by ice-carved sculptures and seating.
Head over to Noir Bar, below Club LAX in the Luxor, for unique cocktails, an ambient atmosphere, and winning DJs. A must-try are their irresistible carrot cake martinis and peanut butter and jelly cocktails.
There are plenty of nightclubs to choose from here but XS situated in Encore at the Wynn is a particular stand-out. If you’re prepared to brave the substantial queues and covers, you’ll find an impressive club atmosphere that features a range of talented guest artists, from Deadmau5 to Dillon Francis.
Top Las Vegas casinos for a weekend break
A city break in Las Vegas wouldn’t be complete without at least a glimpse of some of the more unusual casinos here. The Venetian Resort Hotel Casino recreates the architecture and interiors seen in Venice, with chandeliers, painted ceilings, marble columns, and even a lagoon where you can take a Gondola ride.
