If you're a real foodie and looking for a great dining experience then venture down to the Royal Bath Gardens. Within the idyllic setting you'll quickly find the conservatory-style building of The Belvedere. The inside is furnished in a regal fashion, and the food received high praise and recommendation by the Michelin guide in the past.
On the water
The Vistula River is a big part of the city, and you can even use it to get around. Thanks to the Pedal and Paddle scheme you can rent bikes or kayaks from the same vendor, so why not follow the river and see more of the city under your own steam?
If you'd rather stay a little drier then approach one of the many cruises. The river is split into three sections, so you can choose either the upper or lower parts, or the area known as the Lagoon. The river tours are best between May and September when the climate is perfectly suited to seeing the city from the deck of a cruise boat.
