North of downtown Budapest, in the middle of the Danube is Margaret Island, a delightful parkland isle that is a serene part of the city.

Hungary's first Michelin-star restaurant, Costes, offers friendly, attentive service and delicious international cuisine in this sophisticated but not pretentious eatery.

District VII is where most of Budapest's night-time action takes place, and its clubs and bars are all within easy walking distance of each other.
