Cheap flights to Tenerife

Find cheap flights to Tenerife, the Canary Island’s largest destination, and the most populated island in Spain. Here you can enjoy a holiday in the yearlong sunshine from the moment you step off your flight in the south of the island.

    Beach life

You won’t find it difficult to find the right beach for you on your lastminute.com trip to Tenerife. The island has plenty to choose from, ranging from the exciting typical tourist destinations to the hidden gems in nearby coves.

For a commercial beach try Playa de Las Vistas. Tourists have been flocking here for years thanks to its proven track record. The beach is located in Los Cristianos in Arona and is well stocked with beach chairs, umbrellas and hammocks.  For those who like to jump into the sea and get involved with the waves, there are plenty of water sports available on the island. Try your hand at windsurfing, typical surfing or simply admire from the family friendly zone at the home of the world kite surfing championships, El Madano beach.

If you fancy a quiet patch of your own then Playa de La Tejita is the right beach for you. Here you can find parking easily, and pick whichever spot on the enormous and broad beach you think best.

    Resorts

There are a host of great resorts to choose from, mainly on the south and west coasts. This means as soon as you step off your Tenerife flight you’ll be a stone’s throw from a whole range of great locations. Costa Adeje is close to Veronicas Commercial centre, and as with most of the Tenerife resorts it’s close to plenty of activities, beaches and nightclubs made for holiday goers.

    Places to eat

In the Canary Islands you’ll quickly realise that fishing and eating fish are a big part of the lifestyle. The best Canary dishes consist of fish and have salty flavours to them.

In the middle of the popular south-west coast you’ll find Kabuki. This traditionally themed hotel restaurant is one of two Michelin starred eateries on the island. It is located in the Abama hotel but is open to non-residents from all across the island. Here you can expect professionalism and great service of well-presented and delicious foods.

On the south coast by the airport is Los Roques. This is a contemporary restaurant that serves great Canarian meals, and being only a short drive from the airport, it’s a great spot to enjoy your last or first meals on the island.
