Built in Bauhaus style in 1927 and completely renovated in 2008, the Hotel Monte Verità enjoys an elevated position above Ascona and Lake Maggiore, amid a large garden with exotic plants. The entire property has free WiFi access. Guests can enjoy bright and elegant rooms, some with a balcony and some with views of Lake Maggiore. A TV lounge is available in the main building. It includes an à-la-carte restaurant offering a rooftop terrace with superb views of the lake. Guests can benefit from a tennis court on site. The Monte Verità is part of the Swiss Historic Hotels chain and has been awarded as the "Historic Hotel of the Year 2013" by the ICOMOS Committee. You can park your car for free on site.
