The landscape around La Clusaz is pristine and breathtaking in every season, but of course best known as a snow-clad ski resort. Surrounded by towering peaks, unspoilt alpine valleys and sparkling lakes, such as Lac des Confins, the village is 20 miles from the lovely town and lake of Annecy. La Clusaz nestles in the Aravis skiing area, which it shares with the neighbouring village of Le Grand Bornand and between them, these little alpine havens boast 140 miles of exciting pistes.

In July 2010 the Tour de France came through Le Clusaz, with Stage 9 climbing to the top of the Col des Aravis, before plunging to the finish at Saint Jean de Maurienne.

Wherever you go, you will find the famous local Reblochon cheese being proudly offered.
