The obvious activities in La Plagne are skiing and snowboarding, but you can get out and experience the slopes in lots of different ways. Get a bird's eye view on a paragliding trip, hurtle down the hills in a ski luge, have fun bobsleighing, or do a bit of ice climbing.

You can pop across to the Ice Cave to check out the ice sculptures, or spend a day hiking through the amazing countryside around La Plagne. Among some of the many dramatic sights is the view of Mont Blanc from the valley of Bauches.

For the ultimate relaxation trip, forgo the winter sports and get to one of the local spas for a bit of pampering, or enjoy a chilled-out yoga class.
