Best time to visit Magaluf

Holiday weather in Magaluf

Magaluf’s the kind of place that doesn’t really do quiet — unless you visit in winter, and even then, it’s probably still louder than your office. Known for its sunny beaches, big nights out and summer vibes on tap, it’s got that classic Mediterranean climate: hot summers, mild winters, and a pretty solid reason to bring sunglasses most of the year. Whether you’re here for clubbing, cocktails or just catching a tan before the others, Magaluf doesn’t disappoint.

Best months to travel to Magaluf

If you're after Magaluf at full volume, June to September is your golden ticket. We’re talking 27°C to 31°C, barely a cloud in sight, and nightlife that doesn’t know when to quit. This is when beach clubs are bouncing, bars are buzzing and sunburns are earned the hard way. It’s peak season, full throttle, and absolutely brilliant if you like your holidays loud, lively and sun-soaked. Not keen on elbowing your way to the bar? May and October still serve up warm, sunny days (22°C to 26°C) without the peak-season crowds. You’ll get all the beach time with a side of peace and maybe even a proper seat at that sea-view café. Winter (December to February) chills things out a bit — literally and socially — with cooler temps around 14°C to 15°C and many party spots taking a nap. But for coastal walks, chilled sunsets and no queues anywhere, it’s a surprisingly nice shout.

Which months can you swim in Magaluf?

If swimming’s your thing (or even just floating while holding a cocktail), June to October is your window. The sea hits a toasty 22°C to 26°C and stays calm and clear — ideal for jet skiing, paddleboarding or just splashing around with minimal effort. May and early November are still doable if you're brave or just refuse to admit it’s not summer anymore.

When can you find the best deals on holidays to Magaluf?

Want Magaluf without the big price tag? November to March is your friend. It’s quieter, cheaper and your chances of landing a sea-view room for the price of a takeaway pizza are much higher. While the party scene’s mostly asleep, it’s a great time for scenic strolls, wallet-friendly breaks and a bit of breathing space. Late April and early October are also cracking value — warm enough for beach days, cool enough for exploring, and still easy on the budget.
