How to reach Kingston

Flight time: Flights to Kingston from London take 9 to 10 hours – most land at Norman Manley International Airport, located on the Palisadoes strip southeast of the city. British Airways and Virgin Atlantic offer direct flights from London.

Transfer time:

• The airport bus, Route 98, runs from just outside the arrivals area to the Parade downtown and takes roughly 30 minutes. The bus operates every 30 minutes between 5 am and 10 pm.

• If, however, you're new to the area, it’s advisable to take a taxi for ease and comfort.

Price:

• Taxis from the airport to the city centre cost around US$45 one-way. You’ll find drivers waiting outside the terminal.
