Airline tickets with Eurowings

Eurowings - fly in comfort, at reasonable prices

Eurowings, global, low-cost airline Eurowings, is a subsidiary of Lufthansa. Eurowings is based in Dusseldorf, where all technical operations are conducted. The low-cost airline also has hubs in Frankfurt and Munich. Eurowings operates under the brand name Germanwings for all airplanes and air crew.

Eurowings hand luggage policy

Carry-on baggage is subject to the aircraft safety regulations and has a maximum allowanble weight of 8 kg, with dimensions no greater than 55 x 40 x 23 cm. Clothes bags with a maximum size of 57 x 54 x 15 cm are also allowed, alongside additional carry-on luggage, such as notebooks, hand or briefcase with sizes no greater than 40 x 30 x 10 cm. Carrycots, child strollers and wheelchairs or orthopaedic aids are also allowed in hand luggage. Heavier luggage must be handed over at the check in desk.

Eurowings destinations

Eurowings services around 155 airports in Germany and throughout Europe, as well as other worldwide and attractive destinations. The home base for all Eurowings' long-haul aircraft is Cologne-Bonn. Some long distance flight destinations include Orlando, Miami, Seattle, Las Vegas, Fort Myers, New York, Bangkok and Phuket in Thailand, Cancun in southern Mexico, Havana and Varadero in Cuba, Punta Cana in the Dominican Republic, Puerto Plata, Montego Bay, Mauritius, Windhoek and Cape Town and Dubai. Short-haul connections are also available to London-Heathrow and Paris-de-Gaulle, while some non-stop European flights include Salzburg to Hamburg, Dusseldorf, Cologne, London, Paris, Amsterdam, Vendig, Palma de Mallorca and other destinations in Europe.

Bonus programmes and special offers

Eurowings provide three fare types: the basic rate without any additional services, the Smart fare, which includes luggage, seating and catering, and the Best fare, which includes luggage, exclusive seating, lounge access and many more benefits. The Flex option for free re-bookings and cancellations can be reserved with Smart and Best fare rates.

Collection of bonus miles is also possible, which can also include train journeys. Bonus miles are credited for services that you have used yourself. Miles will be credited within 48 hours of the flight. Special offers are available with discount tickets. Some routes may even feature one-way prices below a price of 10 euros. Overall, the cheapest bookings are usually available for selected flights within Germany and to European tourist/holiday destinations.
