Information about flights to Aberdeen

Situated on the east coast of Scotland, the city of Aberdeen offers a huge variety of activities and attractions. With the airport just a 30-minute drive to the north of the city, flying into Aberdeen gives you easy access to the third biggest city in the country, as well the stunning Cairngorms National Park and the beauty of the far north.
All action adventure
Known as the ‘Silver City with the Golden Sands' Aberdeen is home to a long sandy coastline, the highlight of which is Balmedie, where you can explore the rolling dunes and near endless views of the North Sea. For the more adventurous, the region is home to a huge surfing community and whether you're an expert or first-timer, getting out into the North Sea waves is an experience not to miss. If you're lucky enough to have snow while you're there then Gienshee and The Lecht are two of the best ski areas in the UK and are within easy reach of the city.
Eating and drinking
Real ales and folk music are the order of the day in Aberdeen and there's no better place to sample both than at The Prince of Wales pub, which has been around since 1850. Ma Cameron's is officially Aberdeen's oldest pub though and it's a city institution. Low ceilings and wood panelling make it a cosy haven for you to enjoy local delicacies such as stovies, haggis, neeps and tatties. For another sample of the local cuisine, try one of Aberdeen's very own croissants, a buttery (or rowie), best eaten warm and covered in jam.
Everything you would expect from an Express hotel...at a great price. No problems. Friendly, helpfull staff. Great breakfast included. Only drawback is distance from the city centre...but will use again.
