Best for: Pristine coves
Pretty Cala d’Or includes a selection of coves: Cala Ferrera, Cala Esmeralda, Cala Serena, Cala Gran and Cala Llonga. Each of the different calas, meaning bays, possess their own unique character. Former fishing harbours have been transformed into 21-century marinas, while some of the coves display beaches which are surrounded by lush woodland and soaring cliffs - the settings are truly charming. There’s also a small train connecting them, making the whole area easier to navigate and access. If you’re looking for Cala d’Or holidays, we recommend visiting in the summer, when its temperatures are at their very best.
