You can walk to the center within 20 minutes on the Groene Loper of Maastricht, a new hiking trail which is located next to the hotel. Novotel Maastricht is also an excellent base for exploring other Burgundian regions, such as Valkenburg aan de Geul, but also the Voerstreek and Kanne towards Belgium.
