A brilliant if slightly overwhelming way to start your trip to Marrakech is with a visit to the Djemaa el-Fna square. The square has been designated a UNESCO World Heritage Site and is home to a lively market. You'll be able to see snake charmers and acrobats while you sample some exotic food from its many barbecues. The south-west end of the market is home to belly dancers and amateur boxers. It's not hard to see why the square has been a centre of culture for 1,000 years and it's a great introduction to the city.

The treatment is a full-body scrub that will restore your skin to amazing new-born-baby softness via the very rough application of a special glove. More modern hammams are also available and they offer private steam rooms and relaxing oil massages.
