How to reach Livigno

• Flight time: Flights to Livigno in the Italian Alps typically land at one of Milan’s airports. From London, flights to Milan Malpensa, Milan Linate or Milan Bergamo Airports typically take around two hours. Once there, you’ll generally need to travel by either road or rail to reach Livigno.

• Transfer time: From Milan’s largest airport, Malpensa, the drive to Livigno takes 3 to 4 hours. Shuttle bus services are available, or you may prefer to hire a car. From Bergamo Orio al Serio, the transfer time is roughly 3 hours by car. If you’re happy to travel by public transport, take the Trenord train directly from Milano Centrale to Tirano, and from there you can catch a bus to Livigno. The whole journey takes around 4.5 hours.

• Price: Shuttle services from Milan airports to Livigno cost approximately €60–€80 one way. Hiring a car can vary greatly depending on the season and the rental company but expect to pay around €80–€150 per day. Tickets for the train and bus cost about €20–€30 combined.
