Description
Durham’s only silver awarded AA rated and 4 star hotel. Set in a unique location, surrounded by 350 acres of private grounds with 127 luxury bedrooms, two 18 hole Championship golf courses, four bars and award winning restaurants. As a hotel guest you can enjoy complimentary use of the 25 metre swimming pool and state of the art fitness suite from check-in until check out (Children's restrictions apply). During busy times, particularly at weekends, guests may be asked to book specific time slots for use of the leisure facilities to prevent over-crowding.
Restaurant
Pemberton open daily from 7am-10pm and serving breakfast. The Coffee shop is serving teas, coffees, cakes and sandwiches. Hot readily available food from 12 noon for lunch and 7pm for dinner. Serves a varied selection of food on a readily available basis, as well as dishes cooked to order. Large salad bar, teas, coffee, cakes and sandwiches available.
Open from 1st April 2009. Rib Room Steakhouse & Grill: serving fresh local products - cooked to order - premium aged steaks a speciality - fine wines - open daily from 12noon - 2.00pm & 6.00pm - 10.00pm.
There are two bars: the main bar, which has a traditional pub-type atmosphere and also Pemberton's bar.
