With all the modern comforts, including an espresso machine in each room, you'd never guess you were staying in a house that dates back to the 14th century. With the lively modern city bustling in the background, you'd never know this was little more than a quaint port village not two centuries ago. And with it being situated squarely in Slovenia, you wouldn't guess at its Venetian past. Yet it is all of this, and more.
