In downtown Lisbon, The 130 room Mama Lisboa is close to Marques de Pombal metro station, Avenida da Liberdade and the botanical gardens. Its design is closely related to fishermen and the sea: lively and welcoming but also intimate, with overtones of the first Mama, Mama Shelter in Paris. The outside terrace is behind the restaurant with plants, comfortable white seating and terracotta decoration. The walls and ceiling are covered with more abstract designs by French artist Beniloys.
On the ground floor, a pizzeria that offers takeout to be eaten in the glass gallery inside the Mama. Behind the lobby, the restaurant with its inside terrace.
Bar island in local marble. Above the bar, large disc-shaped lighting with luminous globes and ceramic pendant lights in the shape of fish.
Rooftop restaurant with charcoal grill and bar and its wonderful view of the city and ocean.
