Description
Hotel do Carmo is a 3-star hotel located just in Funchal city centre (Madeira Island capital city) and it’s a very good example of late nineteen sixties interior design. It has 80 rooms, most of which have a balcony and some family rooms. Open since November 1968, the Hotel has been renovated over the years. The most recent one was made in 2018 in the room floors, new toilet showers and new glass in bathtubsand also, in public areas, namely in the terraces located on the rooftop and in the pool area. At the Lobby area, you’ll find the Reception and the Restaurant where breakfast, lunch and dinner are served. There is also the 60’s Bar with a snooker table, a nice terrace and a big tv where sports channels are available. On the rooftop there’s a swimming pool and two other terraces with great views over Funchal bay, the Atlantic Ocean and mountains.
