A Neighborhood fueled by passions.
The fictional passion between Romeo and Juliet draws thousands to Verona every year, but it's the very real loves and obsessions of the city's residents past and present that make our neighborhood so special.
At the heart of this neighborhood is Hotel Indigo Verona which was built in the 1920's at the request of a noble Austrian family, the Reichenbach. You can dive into our district's rich past the moment you step out onto Corso Porta Nuova, largely thanks to architect Michele Sanmichell, whose statue sits opposite the Hotel Indigo – Verona.
You will recognise results of Verona's Roman heritage with distinctive 16th-century Italian craftsmanship throughout the design of our boutique hotel rooms and bar. Our facilities are up to date, with flat screen tv's, invigorating rainfall showers, luxurious toiletries, and complimentary WIFI to make your stay a very special one.
Our Lounge bar is definitely the place to stir your social scene to life. Hotel guests mix and mingle in an inviting, laid-back setting. For social gatherings or after work cocktails, the bar is a warm spot where old friends gather and new friends await. A creative selection of cocktails is always flowing, with the drink menu newly invigorated with an assortment of exclusively local wines, craft beers, and signature recipes.
After a day spent sightseeing in Verona, relax at our exclusive Lounge Bar while sipping an aperitif or an elaborate cocktail created by our bartender. At our bar guests will find a wide range of specialty coffees and teas, a large selection of local fine wines and delicious snacks, the typical spritz, and refined spirits with a twist of Italian flair.
