The hotel is situated amongst mature trees and elegant gardens, directly overlooking Lake Maggiore. It is right in the middle of Baveno's town centre, which has many shops, restaurants, bars and pubs, as well as a tourist information centre. It is just a few minutes' walk to the sandy beach and to the park. The train station is about 500 metres from the hotel. Renovated in 2008, this charming hotel offers 374 rooms and a host of modern conference and sporting facilities. Services available at the hotel include a 24-hour reception, hotel safe, currency exchange facilities, cloakroom, lift access, restaurant and TV lounge. Room and laundry services, as well as a garage, are available for an additional fee. As an alternative to business and sport, art lovers can enjoy the regular exhibitions housed at the Hotel Simplon's art gallery which is attached to the hotel. After an eventful day, guests can unwind with an aperitif at one of the 2 bars before enjoying a meal at one of the restaurants overlooking the lake.
