Costa Navarino is one of the newest holiday resorts in Europe. Located in the region of Messinia in the south-west Peloponnese, it is an area with a rich cultural history dating back to the Ancient Greeks and King Nestor. Now the coastline has been transformed into the ideal holiday destination, while just a short car journey will take you into the Mani peninsula, home to ten major historical sites as well as a bird reserve.

The Westin is more geared towards families, with large suites, family-friendly swimming pools and beach access.
Golf
A holiday to Costa Navarino is not complete without a round of golf or two, and both of the courses are truly world class. Delivering brilliant sport as well as stunning views across the region, it’s a great way to spend time with a large group or even on your own. The Dunes course was designed by one-time US Masters Champion and former Ryder Cup Captain, Bernhard Langer. The Bay course is situated alongside the historic Bay of Navarino, meandering through several stunning natural beauty spots.
Outdoor activities
For those who have had enough lounging around the pool, there are many outdoor and watersports activities to get involved in. From rock climbing and mountain biking to wind surfing and kayaking, you can find something for all ages and tastes. Diving in the crystal-clear waters offers a special chance to swim with turtles, while a day out on a yacht is a truly relaxing experience. If you’re feeling competitive you can get on the tennis court or jump into a go-kart.
Food and drink
Greece is famed for its rich culinary heritage, with secret recipes and traditions passed down through generations. Some of the most famous and popular delights are the fresh olive oil and vinegar which is produced locally and served as fresh as it comes. The region has also been a haven for wineries since around 6,500 BC, and the Navarino Vineyards cover 55 hectares of the hillsides that surround the sea. You can take a tour of the famous cellars and experience the wonderful taste for yourself with a tour or seminar.
