From Milan Malpensa Airport, the journey takes around 2 hours by car, and 3 to 4 hours by train, involving a change at Milan Centrale station. The train service runs approximately every 30 minutes. It’s worth noting that transfer times will vary depending on your exact Lake Garda location.

• Price: A bus from Verona Airport to Peschiera del Garda at the southern end of the lake costs around €3, while a taxi can range from €50 to €70. Either book in advance, or agree the price upfront with your driver. From Milan Malpensa Airport, a train to Lake Garda typically costs between €20 and €30, while a taxi can be significantly more expensive. Again, prices depend on the distance to your final lakeside destination.
