• From Milan Malpensa Airport, the journey takes around 2 hours by car, and 3 to 4 hours by train, involving a change at Milan Centrale station. The train service runs approximately every 30 minutes. Transfer times will vary depending on your exact Lake Garda location.

Price:

• A bus from Verona Airport to Peschiera del Garda at the southern end of the lake costs around €3, while a taxi can range from €50 to €70. Either book in advance, or agree the price upfront with your driver.

• From Milan Malpensa Airport, a train to Lake Garda typically costs between €20 and €30, while a taxi can be significantly more expensive. Prices depend on the distance to your final lakeside destination.

• April to June is an excellent time to visit, with mild and pleasant temperatures ranging from 15°C to 25°C. The lake is not too crowded and the surrounding areas are in full bloom, making it perfect for outdoor activities.

• July to August is the high season, with minimal rainfall and temperatures often reaching 30°C or more. This is the best time for swimming and water sports, but be prepared for crowds.
