Shakespeare's Globe

When did the Shakespeare's Globe open?

The Shakespeare's Globe opened to the public in 1997, as a replica of the original Globe Theatre, and has since hosted world famous plays such as Tristan & Yseult, Romeo and Juliet and The Taming of the Shrew.

Located in Bankside this venue is close to London’s main attractions such as the Tate Modern, the London Bridge and Borough Market.

Its central location makes a perfect excuse to grab a bite to eat or a drink, before or after the show thanks to the plethora of pubs and restaurants nearby.
