UK’s Most Thrilling Coasters 

Brave the incredible launch of the UK’s fastest coaster Stealth, swerve through near-misses on the UK’s only winged roller-coaster THE SWARM and plunge the 100ft ‘beyond vertical’ drop of the horror movie themed coaster SAW-The Ride as you take on some of the UK’s most thrilling coasters. 

UK’s Wettest Theme Park 

Plunge down the super-soaking 85ft drop on Tidal Wave, get drenched on the 64ft spiraling descent on Storm Surge and play splash roulette on the Island’s ferocious Rumba Rapids as you experience the UK’s wettest water rides. 

Young Thrillseekers 

Younger theme park fans can grab their adrenaline apprenticeship as they journey on our awesome junior coaster Flying Fish, before enjoying exhilarating rides such as the gravity defying Zodiac and a magic carpet flight on Quantum. Thorpe Park One Day Entry Off Peak - Booking Information

  • Regular South West Trains run from Waterloo direct to Staines which is the recommended railway station for travelling to THORPE PARK Resort. Approx 5 Trains run per hour to and from London Waterloo with a journey of between 30 to 50 minutes. The 950 shuttle link operates from Staines station to THORPEPARK Resort 15-20 minutes. 

  • Each ride has its own height restrictions ranging from 0.9m to 1.4m minimum

  • Buggies can be hired from Sweets and Souvenirs located in the Dome for a cost of £6 single £9 double and both have a £20 refundable deposit

  • Safety Information

  • Please ensure that you bring a copy of your E-Ticket on arrival

  • Please be ready to make on-site payments using a ‘contactless’ bank card, rather than cash where possible

  • Guests over the age of 11 will be required to wear a face mask in order to go on a number of the rides and rollercoasters, into shops and arcades or when queuing in an indoor location, All guests will therefore need to bring a suitable mask or face covering with them when they visit the theme park. Face masks are available to purchase at the theme park should you require one. Only securely fitted face masks should be worn on rides for safety reasons and we would recommend removing face masks on water rides in case they get wet. Face masks do are not required for children under the age of 11 or for people with certain health conditions and/or disabilities. 

  • Should you start to display symptoms associated with COVID-19 please do not attend the attraction

  • Capacity has significantly been reduced to allow for social distancing

  • To support the health & safety of guests and staff Merlin Entertainments will be using non-contact thermometers to screen the temperature of each guest and employee upon arrival. Guests who do not allow the screening or displaying a temperature of 37.8 degrees Celsius or above will not be permitted to enter the attraction.

  •  A large number of hygiene stations and hand sanitizer dispensers have been installed around the resort for guests to use. 

  • Enhanced cleaning measures throughout the day have been introduced.

  • Disabled Access

  • Parking

  • Those holding a blue disability badge are required to pay £5 for car parking. When a guest displays a blue disability badge, they can park in the disabled area of the car park, next to the Admissions area on a first come, first served basis.

  • Tickets

  • Disabled Guests are entitled to a free helper ticket. Please book Standard/Concession ticket as appropriate and bring proof of entitlement to the Advanced Ticket Collection Building in order to be issued a free helper ticket. 

  • Ride Access Passes

  • Disabled guests who are unable to queue may be eligible for a Ride Access Pass for themselves and up to one helper. The wristband given will allow the disabled person and the helper to bypass the queuing system usually via the exit or designated entrance designed for ease of access. Proof of entitlement will be required before the Ride Access Passes are given. Such proof includes:

  • Documentary evidence in the form of a letter from a GP or hospital consultant, which details reasons that the guest is unable to queue. Please note this must be seen by THORPE PARK Resort every year, and this is different documentation to that required for admission to the Resort.

  • In certain situations (such as extreme weather conditions, mechanical problems or power interruptions) it may be necessary for guests to be evacuated from the rides, possibly from the highest point. We ask that any helpers are a minimum of 14 years old, and physically able to assist in the event of an evacuation. We can advise but it will always be up to the individual guest to decide whether or not they should ride.

  • A Blue Badge will not be accepted as suitable evidence for issuing a Ride Access Pass.

  • Wheelchair Hire

  • A limited number of wheelchairs for hire, these are issued on a first come first served basis. Wheelchairs can be hired from Guest Services for a £50 deposit.

Thorpe Park One Day Entry Off Peak - Event Information

  • Age recommendation: Park regulations state ‘No child under the age of 12 will be admitted to the Park unless they are accompanied by an adult, who shall be 16 years or over. Children must remain under the control or supervision of an adult at all times. Thorpe, in its absolute discretion, may increase the age restriction for children referred to in regulation 3 above on an individual basis for the requirement of accompaniment by an adult should it be deemed necessary in the interests of safety and security’

  • Voucher exchange instructions: Please present your voucher at the main entrance to gain entry
