The Night of the Iguana Description

Clive Owen returns to the West End for the first time in 18 years to star in a revival of Tennessee Williams’ classic play The Night of the Iguana.
Set in Mexico, 1940, The Night of the Iguana focuses on the meeting of a group of lost souls in a run-down hotel – among them a defrocked priest, a grieving widow, an artist and her poet grandfather. Heralded as Williams’ last great play, it was adapted into an Oscar-winning film in 1964.

Featuring an all-star cast, including Lia Williams (Kiri), Anna Gunn (Breaking Bad) and Julian Glover (Game of Thrones), this production is directed by the Evening Standard and Obie Award-winning James Macdonald.
The Night of the Iguana runs for a limited season at the Noel Coward Theatre, from 6th July-28th September 2019.
