Wicked | London

"The gravity-defying Wizard of Oz prequel” (Time Out London) has now been seen by over 10 million people since its London premiere in 2006.

This award-winning musical, which is already the 15th longest running show in West End theatre history, transports audiences to a stunningly re-imagined world of Oz, providing wonders beyond your imagination…
Based on the acclaimed, best-selling novel by Gregory Maguire that ingeniously re-imagines the stories and characters created by L. Frank Baum in ‘The Wonderful Wizard of Oz’, WICKED tells the incredible untold story of an unlikely but profound friendship between two sorcery students. Their extraordinary adventures in Oz will ultimately see them fulfil their destinies as Glinda The Good and the Wicked Witch of the West.

Wicked awards and cast

As you might imagine, the show has received many prestigious awards since its inception, including an Olivier Award for Most Popular Show (2010) and a This Morning Audience Award (2015). It has also earned numerous Drama Desk Awards, multiple Tony Awards, more than two-dozen Broadway.com Audience Choice Awards, and the Best Musical Award in lastminute.com's very own People's Choice Awards.
The Wicked cast London members include Laura Pick in the role of Elphaba, Helen Woolf as Glinda and Alistair Brammer as Fiyero.
