The musical tells the story of Charlie Price, who inherits a shoe factory from his father and forms an unlikely partnership with a drag queen and cabaret performer named Lola to produce a new line of high-heeled boots in order to save the family business. Their journey takes the pair from the factory floor to the glamourous fashion catwalks of Milan, forging a friendship along the way and a belief that anything is possible when you change your mind.
