Music is one of Britain's great modern exports, so why not discover more about the nation's musical heroes at the British Music Experience? Opened in February 2018 in Liverpool, the British Music Experience offers something for all music fans.
With galleries covering British music from 1945 onwards, there's a huge array of memorabilia from bands like The Who and the Sex Pistols. There are interactive attractions as well, including drums, keyboards, and guitars in the Gibson Interactive Room, ready and waiting for you to display your music skills.
Other elements of the experience allow visitors to create their very own music videos, and you can also browse a large collection of vintage ""virtual"" records, hearing new tracks from your favourite artists or discovering completely new sounds.
Be transported to seminal gigs with audio-visual exhibits. See iconic items, from the Union Jack guitar played by Roger Daltrey of The Who, to David Bowie's Ziggy Stardust costume, along with many other display pieces that tell the rich story of British pop in a fun, engaging way. And don't miss the museum's program of music-related events which feature big-name DJs, journalists, music historians, and artists.
