Windsor Castle Description

Being one of the few remaining and occupied palaces on earth, Windsor Castle is notable for its architecture. It was constructed in the 11th Century after William the Conqueror invaded England. Today, the castle is the home to the British royal family and creates a remarkable skyline in Berkshire. Settled in 5.3 hectares of land, the castle accommodates about 150 people including the Queen of England. Most visitors buying Windsor Castle tickets are driven by a desire to come into contact with the museum-like atmosphere as well as historic ruins of the oldest habitable castle.

Windsor Castle Tour Highlights- Must See Things
