The Desert

If you’re looking for Marrakesh day trips, then there are plenty to choose from. Alongside a trek into the Atlas Mountains, a hot air balloon ride over the city, and an adrenalin-filled quad bike experience, the most popular day trip is most definitely a visit to the Sahara Desert. Whether you want to go for a day, few nights, or a whole week, there are plenty of options to choose between. Marrakesh desert trips are the best way of escaping the city and seeing how life used to be in Northern Africa.

The Souks

We’d be completely remiss to not begin a Marrakesh blog with its world-famous markets, otherwise known as souks. Hundreds of tiny streets stretch out across the city centre, each one offering their own handcrafted and unique wares. It’s quite easy to get lost when walking around them, but then again, that’s part of the fun. It’s not just shops you’ll find on your travels, with several lanes squeezing in a beautiful courtyard or an elegant fountain, just remember to drop a pin on your hotel on Google Maps so you can find your way back.
