Located on the west coast of Scotland, surrounded by the scenic countryside, The Airds Hotel and Restaurant is a converted ferry inn with free WiFi access and free on-site parking. The property is a 7-minute drive from Castle Stalker and 19 miles from the coastal town of Oban with its ferry connections to many of the west coast islands. Airds is the only hotel in Scotland to have been awarded The Good Hotel Guide Cesar award 2020. Each room is individually decorated and has an en suite bathroom. Each room features a TV, radio with iPod dock and a DVD player whilst bathrooms have a shower and/or bath. Front facing rooms benefit from the loch view. At The Airds Hotel and Restaurant there is a garden and a terrace, both making the most of the loch view whilst other facilities offered at the property include lounges with log fires and a snug bar. An array of activities can be enjoyed on site or in the surroundings, including cycling and hiking and there are plenty of castles and other visitor attractions to be visited nearby. Oban Ferry Terminal is a 36-minute drive away and Ben Nevis is 29.5 miles away. Oban Golf Club is also 40 minutes' journey by car. Glencoe with its many hiking and mountain bike trails is 35 minutes by car.
