Museums

The venue attracts close to 200,000 visitors each year and features a reconstructed interior that mirrors the building's original design.
The Rijksmuseum, meanwhile, was moved to Amsterdam from The Hague in 1808 and includes around 8,000 artefacts on display, although there are approximately 1 million artefacts in total spanning a period of around 800 years. Another must-see attraction is the Anne Frank House, which was designed in the early 17th century and was the hiding place of the famous Jewish diarist Anne Frank in the Second World War.
