Things to do in and around Puerto Banus
If your holiday is about living the dream, then you might be tempted to consider hiring a luxury vehicle to make your driving experience a glamorous one. Whether your preference is the latest Range Rover, or a Ferrari, you will find significant choice available at the Marbella Racing Club. Alternatively, charter a luxury yacht for the day and take to the open sea. There are a number of companies that offer this service, including Marbella Luxury Yachts, which operates out of Puerto Banus. Surprisingly the price tag is not as frightening as you may think.
There are also ample opportunities to enjoy some water sports in the Puerto Banus area. Jet skis are available for hire, as well as water skiing, parasailing and wakeboarding. There are also fishing trips freely available to book, if you want to spend the day on the water and bring home your evening meal.
For a spot of retail therapy, the Marina Banus Shopping Centre offers something for every taste and budget. There are also two restaurants, a café and children’s play area, to help create a relaxed and stress free experience.

Ocean Club Marbella, reportedly one of the largest waterside venues in Europe, is located on the beach front in the centre of Puerto Banus. This is an exclusive beach club, which provides access to a large saltwater swimming pool, with oversized sun loungers and elegant parasols. It’s a relaxing, luxurious place to spend your day, with an excellent restaurant offering gourmet delights through to the evening. Renowned for its Champagne Spray Parties and Club Tropicana, you can party the night away, sipping exotic cocktails as you rub shoulders with the rich and famous.
The Casino Marbella, open from 7pm, comes to life after midnight. It’s entirely possible to spend an evening there and enjoy a flutter with a minimum of €100 to spend, but don’t be surprised to witness some very large stakes being played at the roulette wheel.
