The station is home to an excellent selection of shops so you can do a bit of shopping to kill time whilst you’re travelling. Lush is a unique store that will draw you in with the smells of its wonderful handmade cosmetics. All the store’s products are made from fresh organic fruit and fine essential oils and make perfect gifts to take home to loved ones. Another brilliant place to pick up some gifts is Paperchase. The store sells an interesting selection of stationary and gifts with great quirky patterns.
There’s an excellent selection of attractions that are only a short walk from Victoria Station. Any trip to London wouldn't be complete without visiting Buckingham Palace. The Palace is just eight minutes’ walk from the station and is an amazing place to visit. The official residence of the Queen, the Palace is home to some extraordinary artwork by the likes of Salvador Dali.
If you want to enjoy even more art you should head to the Saatchi Gallery which is also only a short walk from the station. The gallery is based in a former military barracks and has a space specifically dedicated to emerging artists. Temporary exhibitions of prominent contemporary artists are also regularly held.
Westminster Cathedral is also located within easy walking distance of the station. The Cathedral is London’s only example of neo-Byzantine architecture and is a fascinating place to visit.
