Take a trip to the Royal Albert Hall
We love the Royal Albert Hall. Home to the Proms and musical performances of all kinds, from jazz to dance. Originally built by Queen Victoria for Price Albert, the Royal Albert Hall was a place to celebrate the arts and sciences.
That’s reflected in many of the buildings near the Royal Albert Hall including The Royal College of Art, the Royal Geographic Society and of course, the Victoria and Albert Museum. In fact, it’s difficult to find a landmark in this neighbourhood that isn’t connected to this pair.
Hotels in this area often reflect the grandeur of their surroundings, with the Royal Parks and South Kensington nearby. But we cater for everyone and also have cheap hotels near the Royal Albert Hall.
If you book a hotel near the Royal Albert Hall, we recommend taking a trip to the nearby Serpentine Boating Lake. In summer, you can rent a pedalo or rowboat and take in the views.
If you’re visiting for a performance, we’d suggest a hotel near to the Royal Albert Hall so you’re within walking distance – skip the taxi queue and enjoy the scenic route. Be sure to keep your eye out for the Albert Memorial, a striking bronze statue of the Prince himself, directly opposite the Royal Albert Hall.
