If you’re a bit of history buff you’ll love exploring some of Glasgow’s historic buildings. One of the most impressive in the city is the Glasgow Cathedral. The Cathedral was originally constructed in the 1100s and is dedicated to St Kentigern who was the first bishop of Strathclyde. Another famous building you won’t want to miss is the Glasgow School of Art. Designed by the famous architect Rennie Mackintosh and considered one of his finest buildings, the school is a must-see. The best way to explore the building is with a guided tour which is regularly available but requires advanced booking.
