This family-run hotel lies in the historic centre of Nebel, on the North Sea island of Amrum in the Wadden Sea. It has a garden with garden furniture and beach wicker chairs. Rooms at the Ekke Nekkepenn are tastefully decorated. Some of the furnishings were handmade in Ireland using 200-year-old pine. A rich and varied breakfast buffet is provided each morning in the Ekke Nekkepenn's cosy breakfast room. A lovely Frisian café and a range of restaurants can be found a short walk from the hotel. Guests are welcome to admire the Frisian architecture on the island of Amrum, which includes charming captain's houses with thatched roofs, the St. Clemens church and a historic windmill.
