Hotels in Santa Eulalia

Santa Eulàlia, officially Santa Eulària des Riu, is a charismatic resort in exotic Ibiza and a quieter, more family friendly alternative to many other resorts on the island. The town, which has an excellent restaurant scene, is renowned for its attractive tree-lined promenade and splendid sandy beach, and is just a short drive from the island's international airport.

The town is home to the Parish Church of Santa Eulària, which has probably existed since the 16th century and may have replaced a much older structure dating back to the turn of the 14th century. If you're looking for some great souvenirs with an authentic Ibizan theme, you might wish to visit The Sal de Ibiza store, where you can find many quality jewellery items, fantastic food, chic clothes, and other stylish souvenirs for friends and relatives, or for yourself.

Other places of interest in Ibiza

See the spectacular Cala de Sant Vicent beach, which is one of the finest in the Mediterranean and features striking cliffs and gently shelving sands. You may also want to visit the pictorial village of Sant Miquel, which contains a beautifully preserved 16th century church where you can enjoy superb panoramic views over the island.

The Ibiza UNESCO World Heritage Site

Although Ibiza is most noted for its thriving nightlife scene, many people are unaware that the island also has an incredibly rich ancient and medieval past, and several other fascinating natural landmarks. Indeed, Ibiza has received prestigious UNESCO World Heritage Site status thanks to its extensive marine life and preserved forts in its Upper Town district. This designation also includes the island's rare plant species and diverse wildlife, the impressive ancient ruins of its Phoenician settlements, and the picturesque island of Formentera to the south.
