Hotels in Prestatyn

On the coast by the Irish Sea, Prestatyn is one of Wales' top seaside holiday resorts. It has a strong ‘small town' charm, as only around 1, 000 people lived here before it became a tourist hotspot in the 19th and 20th centuries. You'll find several holiday camps alongside the Prestatyn hotels which line the sea front.

Take a look around the remains of an old Roman bathhouse, which is said to be part of an ancient fort. It's said that the ruins are home to local wildlife, with as many as 19 badgers living in and around it.

Prestatyn Shopping Park, also known as Parc Prestatyn, has a wide variety of shops including New Look and Boots. It has its own parking, so you can pick up everything you need.

The Lido Beach is the main attraction in summer, and it's popular as a caravan park. The facilities include sport courts and a kids' adventure playground, and you can even access wi-fi (for a fee) from the sand.

Astrobowl is the local place to knock down some pins. It's part of the Ffrith Beach Festival Gardens, where you'll also find a skating rink.
