Hotels in Paguera

A resort town in the south-western corner of Mallorca, the largest of the Balearic Isles, Paguera is a popular destination for travellers seeking sun, sea and fun, and peace and quiet. Book a Paguera hotel with us and experience a lively but relaxed Mediterranean retreat.

Beaches

There are three beaches in Paguera, Playa Palmira - which is the largest - Playa Tora and Playa la Romana, and they are all linked by a pedestrian promenade. The shores are predominantly sandy and well-maintained, and are ideal for sunbathing or tranquil walks along the coast.

Boats

It's well worth taking advantage of the many boat trips that run from Paguera. The neighbouring resorts of Puerto Andratx and Santa Ponsa are popular destinations in their own right and lie within easy reach of Paguera. Andratx and the nearby Island of Dragonera are particularly noSEOSITE_LEVEL_DESCRIPTION for their impressive scenery.

Aquatic antics and animals

An eight mile trip south east will take you to Western Water Park in Carretera Cala Figuera. Here you'll have the opportunity to indulge in a variety of water-based fun activities. The park is ideal for everyone, from kids who just like to splash about to thrill-seekers who fancy tackling vertiginous 30-metre slides.

Marineland in Palmanova, also eight miles from Paguera, provides the opportunity to encounter sea lions and penguins as well as observe more deadly sea creatures such as sharks. The undoubted stars of Marineland are the dolphins and you can catch their spectacular shows which run twice a day.

Restaurants and cafés

There's a good selection of places to eat and drink in Paguera. You'll find menus serving everything from Italian, German and British to Asian, South American and vegetarian. Feliciano's, which is run by two Argentinean brothers, offers salads, paella, pastas and meat dishes. The food and service has made it a popular haunt of travellers. And for a lovely garden setting and Spanish cuisine, Casa Rustica is another restaurant that has found favour with visitors.

Nightlife

Paguera is a vibrant resort and you'll find a number of cocktail bars and clubs playing music late into the night. Palma, Mallorca's capital and just over 20 miles away, is the island's club hotspot. And within a seven mile radius, Magaluf, Santa Ponsa and Palmanova are also popular with people looking for a lively night out.

Shopping in and around Paguera

Behind the pedestrian promenade that runs parallel to the beach lies a long street dotted with shops selling local hand-crafted wares and essentials. Nearby Calviá village has a market on a Monday and Andratx has its market every Wednesday. Palma is home to department stores, supermarkets, fashion retailers, jewellers, gift shops and more.
