The original village in the area to open as a ski resort in 1968 is Arc 1600. One of the pioneering modern ski resorts, the concept was soon imitated both across the Alps and beyond. The resort can be reached within seven minutes by train from Bourg St Maurice.
Built in 1975, Arc 1800 is the liveliest resort in the area with plenty of action happening both on the slopes and in the many surrounding bars. Whether you're a beginner or an intermediate skier, you'll find a good range of runs to enjoy.
Located in a secluded area Aiguille Rouge, Arc 2000 is the highest of the resorts. The nightlife may be thin on the ground but this is where the most challenging slopes can be found. This is a great destination for skiers with a bit more experience under their belt.
