Perched on the Cornish headland, Land's End is a gorgeous destination with craggy hilltop walks, and sweeping views of the Atlantic and across to the Isles of Scilly on a fine day.

Often used as a starting point for races and when measuring distances as England's tip, the romance and drama surrounding Land's End is undeniable and makes it an intriguing and unique destination.

Exploring Land's End

If you're getting out along the cliffs for a bit of sightseeing you should definitely check out the 19th-century Longships Lighthouse. It's a great photo opportunity.

There are lots of really different and fun ways to spend an afternoon in Land's End too. Greeb Farm is a 200-year-old croft and you can pop along and pet the animals and discover how they've been doing things for decades. Arthur's Quest is a really great interactive experience with surprises around every turn, so check that out if you'd like to do something new. And big kids of all ages should pop across to the Shaun the Sheep Experience.

Hotels and restaurants

There's only one hotel at Land's End, and it's called the Land's End Hotel. But there are plenty of other places to stay in and around the area including the Old Success Inn and Cove Cottage, so take your time and do a bit of research when you're planning your trip.

For lovely eateries, try dining at the Land's End Hotel too for typically British cuisine, pop across to the very dramatically named Last Inn in England. Or for a little snack, visit The Cornish Pantry.
