Things to do in Golders Green
The area is home to the London Jewish Cultural Centre, which holds talks, guided tours of Golders Green and other events throughout the year. The building is said to be the former home of legendary ballerina Anna Pavlova.
Take a stroll to the Hampstead Heath Extension, an extra green space to the north-west of the main heath. Golders Hill Park is on the other side of the main road, with a bandstand and tennis courts.
It's not far to the Brent Cross shopping centre, which has over 120 outlets. The complex also contains restaurants such as Gourmet Burger Kitchen and Carluccio's, as well as cafés for a coffee and quick snack.
Visiting London
Golders Green is in zone three, and Golders Green Underground station is on the Northern line.
It takes roughly 15 minutes to get to central London, via Euston for national rail connections. The branch of the line via Bank also runs to King's Cross St Pancras and to London Bridge for Borough Market.
Camden Town is on the way – get off here to explore London's maze of alternative street stalls.
