Near the outskirts of the famous 'Granite City' of Aberdeen, Dyce is a desirable residential suburb that is the home of the city's international airport, which offers regular flights to destinations throughout Europe.

This community is overlooked by the ruins of the Old Parish Church, which probably dates back to before the Norman period and was rebuilt in the 13th or 14th centuries, although only part of the building survives today.
